goldfrapp é outra onda, embora possa ser metido no mesmo saco com os portishead, tal como disseste não são tão depressivos, mas sim vibrantes e contagiantes. assisti a um concerto deles e foi simplesmente 5 estrelas! aquilo é que foi curtir quanto ao 3º álbum dos portishead, são os próprios a dizer que ele é o "irmão mais velho" dos outros dois (li um dia destes no Metro uma entrevista sobre isso) talvez pela maior maturidade que poderá ter em relação aos anteriores álbuns..

olá sputnik esse colaborador que na verdade, é assistente, que te referes sou eu. a partir do momento em que no perfil, cada um poe a informação que quer e ele é público não entendo qual é o teu problema. já várias vezes, o nome verdadeiro de várias pessoas foi usado e referido por imensa gente da equipa...talvez fosse melhor estares mais atento, se existem certas coisas que te chateiam... não querem que se saiba o nome? simples, não o coloquem no perfil público do fórum :)

Amazing Green Roof Art School in Singapore If art school was in our future we might opt to study under, or on top of, the amazing green roof at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. This 5 story facility sweeps a wooded corner of the campus with an organic, vegetated form that blends landscape and structure, nature and high-tech and symbolizes the creativity it houses. The glass façade provides a high performance building envelope that reduces solar gain and heat load while allowing the benefits of natural views and daylight into creative spaces. The glass walls provide a visual exchange between indoors and out allowing students and teachers to experience the building, the surrounding landscape and the interior plaza as fluid spaces. Diffused natural daylight is abundant throughout studios and classrooms, filtered through the surrounding foliage. The curving green roofs distinguish the building from among the other structures on campus but the line between landscape and building is blurred. The roofs serve as informal gathering spaces challenging linear ideas and stirring perception. The roofs create open space, insulate the building, cool the surrounding air and harvest rainwater for landscaping irrigation. Planted grasses mix with native greenery to colonize the building and bond it to the setting. Finishes are intentionally raw to act as a backdrop for the art, media and design projects. Concrete walls and columns, cement-sand screeded floors, timber railings and a neutral palette define the interior spaces which vary in shape and size. This amazing design seems to offer a new experience at every elevation or perspective fulfilling the intent that a school for art should inspire creativity.

Masdar City, The Green City Monday at World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi will be announced a visionary city which is set to be the most ecological in the world. The conference is financed by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Co.’s Masdar Initiave. They plan to begin the construction in February and will have a perimeter of six-square-kilometer.The city will be named Masdar City and it will be able to provide shelter for 47,500 people. The entire construction will be finalized in 10 years, but the first inhabitans will move in beginning with 2009. This project is designed by Foster&Partners, will have zero pollution-rate and zero waste. The energy necessary for powering the city will be distributed with the help of a solar-photovoltaic power plant. Their vision includes the placement, near the sea and a protector-wall will defend the city from the desert’s hot air and from the disturbances created by the Abu Dhabi Airport. In the city no car will circulate, so the transportation will be provided by an electric railway system which will be connected to the center of Abu Dhabi. In Masdar City, you will find the headquarters of the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology and they hope to bring there some of the most important green companies in the world. Senosiain Arquitectos' Nautilus was built with a 2" ferrocement shell and the material concretizes the idea making it true The clients, a young couple with two children who after living in a conventional home wanted to change to one integrated to nature. The land, with upward topography, is limited to the south, north and east by high buildings. The west adjoining provides a wide view of the mountains. The model work generated numberless changes until achieving the volume needed by the construction: the Nautilus. The metaphor was to feel like an internal inhabitant of a snail, like a mollusk moving from one chamber to another, like a symbiotic dweller of a huge fossil maternal cloister. Soft as a Rock Rocks, stones and pebbles have been used as decorative objects since... well... the stone age actually. But, rocks are usually a bit hard to be around. They often look cool, but you wouldn't exactly hug one - until now! Stephanie Marin is the creator of these amazing looking stones, which is actually very soft and comfortable cushions. Made of 100% virgin wool no less - although I have absolutely no idea what makes wool "virgin"... was it never used before? Or is it from sheep that have never had sex? Who knows... but they look amazing (the cushions, not the sheep).

JAG, só estou a seguir o que foi dito no filme. caso te recordes uma das personagens perguntou se a explosão iria afectar central park ao policia (quando decidiram ir buscar a miúda) ao que este responde que não..que iria afectar toda a ilha alem disso, também é explicito no filme que "caso esteja a ouvir a sirene, significa que está na zona do impacto" portanto mantenho o que disse.. e talvez seja melhor não discutir mais o assunto..há gente que ainda não viu o filme
