The house is built on a hill looking down at a town area. A site is the shape that is irregular form. There is a pitch difference of 2m in a site. The north side contacts plural neighboring land with a pitch difference. In the west and the south side, trees grow thick immediately to neighborhood. In the East, a view to a town area is held.

When we walk a site and a path traveling side by side, the state that scenery changes feels it attractively. We arrange a building planarly in parallel with a path and assume a pitch difference in a site placement to cross it sectionally. We were going to bring the charm into the room by doing so it.

We wanted to give the building this variety such as a complex context around the site and the irregular form of the site. It is amplitude...300mm...in the direction at intervals of 2,700mm against the direction of the length hand it as for the plan. It tried to cause disorder extent in which confusion was not given the whole in one operation. How of the person to move and the impression of the space change by the angle of the wall changes a little. Even the relation to the environment of the circumference like how to see scenery and how of the distance and light to enter with the outside, etc. became complex at a dash.

The outside wall and the roof are finished like a rough concrete, and the openings expressed to show thickness of concrete like scoop out volume. We wanted to continue the characteristic of this place such as silences of a surrounding concrete retaining wall and the ancient burial mounds park and dense trees in the building. We thought about the appearance that a hard, static concrete responded to the environment as a life scene according to a little amplitude of the volume.
