Westminster council has granted planning for Make Architects’ luxury apartment development on Weymouth Street in Marylebone.

The 12-flat, 2,000sq m complex includes three penthouses and is an extension of the existing building at 10 Weymouth Street, which lets space to the Architects’ Registration Board.

The rear of the new development will also overlook the RIBA head office and its restaurant terrace. It will feature glass cladding, a green roof, a ground source heat pump system, and will have glass bay “‘pods” to maximise light and space for occupants.
Work is due to begin on site in October this year.
