The Permitting Manager will be responsible for handling all permits related to various projects. Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in the following: Preparing various permit submittal packages. Maintaining ongoing knowledge of permit requirements for area jurisdictions. Submitting and monitoring the progress of various permits submitted to area jurisdictions. Organising and maintaining files relating to permit processes. Researching jurisdictional permits and planning filing requirements. Maintaining a database of critical jurisdictional decision makers. Ability to analyze complex codes and ordinances. Ability to read architectural and engineering plans. Qualification: College degree in an architectural or engineering related field, or a minimum of three years work experience or Technical School training.
