Senior Design Architect:
SAMOO Architecture PC

The NYC design studio of SAMOO Architects & Engineers, located in the New York Times Building, is seeking qualified senior designers to join its growing, highly collaborative global practice. Ideal candidates must have an advanced degree in architecture with a minimum of 12 years of experience (in all phases of project development in a variety of project types) with at least three years as a senior designer. Architectural license is required; LEED AP accreditation is a plus.

Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to design excellence through recent project examples and must have strong effective presentation and leadership skills. Successful candidates must be conceptually creative with the ability to produce/develop multiple project design options, have extensive experience in all phases of design and have a working knowledge of building systems. The individual must work in the spirit of collaboration, provide guidance and direction to junior staff, and confer with stakeholders and other team members on high level design strategies which address project and client needs. Experience in AutoCAD/3DMax is required, and proficiency in Rhino3D/Adobe Software is preferred.
