Dreamer Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Kochi Architect’s Studio - House knhttp-~~-//architecture.myninjaplease.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/house-kn-1.jpgWelcome to another edition of our ‘architecte de la semaine‘ series here at architecture.mnp - where we’re featuring the work of Kochi Architect’s Studio of Japan.First up is HOUSE kn [2006] located in Kanagawa, Japan. A private residence is a suburban community in Japan, the house is amongst typical detached suburban structures - gardens in front, houses pushed back from the street. Step one in the design of the house was the creation of a large ‘box’ that inhabits the entire site - and then carving a void from this ‘box’ for the garden/yard space. The void then acts as a window for the house - framing the garden, the sky, and views out from the box.http-~~-//architecture.myninjaplease.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/house-kn-2.jpg[above] A view from the doorway out on to the deck area within the ‘void’ - showing a panorama from the back to the front of the house, and how the outdoor space is very much a part of the building.http-~~-//architecture.myninjaplease.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/house-kn-3.jpg[Above] A view from within the house to the outside ‘void’.[below] Looking towards the ‘void’ corner of the house from the street.http-~~-//architecture.myninjaplease.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/house-kn-4.jpgMore tomorrow, my ninjas!::all images from Kochi Architect’s Studio:: Link:http://architecture.myninjaplease.com/?p=1199 Quote Não é incrível tudo o que pode caber dentro de um lápis?...
