No, this isn't a mafia hit, but serious economics and environmentalism that is a major shift in how our capitalist system may start operating. This is a radical idea that trumps property rights by valuing the natural services as common property. So if you have a forest and I have an adjacent field of sunflowers - the new paradigm implies that if you chop down your trees, then you owe me damages for the destruction of the honey bees that lived in your forest that pollinated my flowers, and the degradation of our watershed, and the wind damage now that my field isn't sheltered - wow!Fonte: ArchinectEnvironmentalists and investment bankers are working together to put a price tag on nature.
