JVS Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 This is the Ningbo Historic Museum in Ningo China designed by Wang Shu and his firm Amateur Architecture Studio. The new museum was built out of “collected and recycled building materials from the area” said Wang Shu who his ” architecture to tell people what life in this city used to look like” and was designed “as a small city in it’s own right”. The building’s rough and almost prehistoric nature is meant to stand in stark juxtaposition to the modernization of this once small and beautiful harbor town.http://volume-control.tumblr.com/post/239527147/i-heart-wang-shu-amateur-architecture-studio Quote
