This recently-completed business centre located in the coastal city of Hellerup, has been designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.

Situated alongside one of the city’s main boulevards, the three seven storey office blocks can be reached by both private and public transport and even by boat due to the proximity to the harbour. The space between the office blocks has been designated to the public realm, integrating the use of solar lamps and floral landscaping.

The facade of the buildings is constructed from a series of spiraling painted glass strips which are designed to reflect daylight, reminiscent of the surrounding waterways and coast line.

All flooring throughout the complex is clad in a locally produced pine wood lowing the constructions transport costs and CO2 output.

Within the core of the towers the architects have left a void between floors.

The multi storey vertical space allows for natural light to be distributed throughout the building while creating a visual contact between each office floor and the building’s common functions.

Due to the central void within the towers, all workstations are located next to the windows, reducing the need for artificial lighting .
